‘We Thought We Would Be Executed’: Freed Prisoner on Life Inside Sednaya

Around 2,000 people emerged on Sunday from Sednaya, a facility used to detain, torture and kill tens of thousands of prisoners during Syria’s 13-year civil war. These prisoners were released after the Assad regime in Syria fell to conquering rebels last weekend.
