Vietjet is expanding its reach into China with the launch of two new direct routes connecting Hanoi with Chengdu and Xi’an, starting July 1 and July 6, 2025, respectively. Each route will operate four round-trip flights weekly, adding to the airline’s growing Vietnam–China network and making travel between the two countries more accessible than ever.

With these additions, Vietjet will have launched seven new direct routes to China in the first half of 2025 alone, solidifying its position as a leading connector between Vietnam and key destinations across Asia. To celebrate, the airline is offering promotional fares from USD0 (excluding taxes and fees), available here and via the Vietjet Air mobile app.
Strengthening Regional Connectivity
These new routes follow a series of recent launches, including Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Beijing and Guangzhou, and the Hanoi–Shanghai service earlier this year. With direct connections now linking Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to major Chinese cities like Shanghai, Chengdu, Xi’an, Beijing, and Guangzhou, Vietjet is creating new gateways for tourism, trade, and business between China, Southeast Asia, and beyond.
The expansion doesn’t stop in China. Vietjet has also introduced services to India (Hyderabad and Bengaluru), Japan (Nagoya and Fukuoka), and will soon debut a Phu Quoc–Singapore route by the end of the month—further enhancing its Asia–Pacific footprint.
