Vietjet is spreading festive cheer early with the launch of its first-ever direct service between Vietnam and the Philippines, officially linking Ho Chi Minh City and Manila. The new route marks the airline’s debut in the Philippine market and further strengthens its growing presence across the Asia–Pacific region.

Operating five times weekly, the service opens up smoother, more convenient travel between two of Southeast Asia’s most vibrant cultural and culinary capitals. It is set to boost tourism, cultural exchange, and economic ties between the two nations and the wider region.
The inaugural flights took off amid lively celebrations in both cities, warmly welcomed by travelers and local communities. Special guests, including Miss Cosmo 2024 Ketut Permata Juliastrid Sari and Miss Cosmo Philippines 2025 Chelsea Fernandez, joined the festivities, adding star power to the launch.

To mark the milestone and the year-end holiday season, Vietjet has rolled out a “Thank Yourself” promotion available from November 24–30, 2025. Travelers can look forward to:
- 100% discount on Eco-class base fares (excluding taxes and fees) for travel from January 6 to May 27, 2026, using promo code THANKME when booking via Vietjet’s website or mobile app.
- Free 20kg checked baggage for Eco passengers on Ho Chi Minh City–Manila flights from January 5–28 and May 4–28, 2026.
- Complimentary eSIM (500MB high-speed data, valid for 31 days) for international passengers flying to Vietnam, for bookings made until December 31, 2025 or while stocks last.
The new route further reinforces Ho Chi Minh City’s role as Vietnam’s top international gateway, offering seamless onward links to destinations such as Hanoi, Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Nha Trang, and Hue, along with other major Asian cities through Vietjet’s expanding network.

Passengers can look forward to Vietjet’s modern, fuel-efficient fleet, warm service, and a diverse in-flight menu featuring Vietnamese classics like pho and banh mi. On special occasions, travelers may even enjoy unique cultural performances at 10,000 meters.
