Singapore will shine in the global fashion spotlight this weekend as UBS House of Craft x Dior makes its highly anticipated Asian debut. Presented from 21 to 23 November 2025 at the New Art Museum Singapore, part of Whitestone Gallery, the exhibition arrives fresh from its acclaimed New York premiere and brings with it an expanded showcase celebrating the artistry and legacy of Dior haute couture.

Curated by fashion icon Carine Roitfeld and conceived by renowned artist and photographer Brigitte Niedermair, the exhibition draws from rarely seen archives from Dior Heritage. It traces the evolution of the Maison from its founding by Christian Dior to the groundbreaking visions of its influential creative directors: Yves Saint Laurent, Marc Bohan, Gianfranco Ferré, John Galliano, Raf Simons, Maria Grazia Chiuri, and a special tribute to Kim Jones. The Singapore edition also acknowledges the recent appointment of Jonathan Anderson, who now leads Dior’s Women’s, Men’s, and Haute Couture collections.
A Special Tribute to Christian Dior
Exclusive to the Singapore showcase, a dedicated gallery pays profound homage to Christian Dior himself. This space highlights his artistic sketches, creative philosophies, and the foundations on which he built one of the world’s most influential couture houses.
The exhibition also deepens the narrative between Dior and Asia, unveiling archival visuals, reference materials, and designs that reflect how Dior’s creatives have long drawn inspiration from Asian techniques, silhouettes, and cultural motifs. Select sketches even feature Singapore by name, underscoring the Maison’s longstanding dialogue with the region.

New Photographs and Heritage Masterpieces
Visitors will encounter an expanded series of works by Brigitte Niedermair, including five photographs unveiled for the first time. These sit alongside archival haute couture garments and richly detailed moodboards, each one showcasing the distinctive imprint of Dior’s creative leaders across decades.
Live Artisan Demonstrations and Public Programs
Beyond the exhibition, Dior Atelier artisans will demonstrate the meticulous techniques behind iconic silhouettes, offering an up-close look at the craftsmanship that defines haute couture.
A full program of talks and creative sessions rounds out the experience, including:
- UBS’s community activation, where nearly 50 students from LASALLE and NAFA meet Carine Roitfeld and Brigitte Niedermair for rare insights into the inner workings of the global fashion industry.
- A dialogue with Carine Roitfeld and Brigitte Niedermair reflecting on their collaboration and creative process.
- A session led by Brigitte Niedermair exploring the cultural and emotional power of fashion photography.
- A behind-the-scenes conversation with Perrine Scherrer, Director of Dior Heritage, on archive preservation and storytelling.
- Insights from Marie Leroux (Première main Atelier Flou) and Yassin Kavak (Première main Atelier Tailleur) from Dior Atelier, who share the traditions and innovations of couture craftsmanship.
