From 1 March to 31 December 2025, subscribers of the Omiyage Snack Box can enjoy a 15% discount on the JR EAST PASS, making it easier and more affordable to explore Eastern Japan’s scenic regions.
Unlimited Rail Travel at a Discount
The JR EAST PASS offers unlimited travel on JR East lines, including the Narita Express (N’EX) and Tokyo Monorail, for five consecutive days. Two options are available:
- Tohoku Area Pass (covers Sendai, Yamagata, Morioka, Akita, and Aomori) – now 25,500 JPY (down from 30,000 JPY).
- Nagano & Niigata Area Pass – now 22,950 JPY (down from 27,000 JPY).
This discount is exclusive to 3, 6, or 12-month snack box subscribers, adding extra value for frequent Japan travelers.

The newly revamped JAPAN RAIL CLUB website now features a travel blog with curated itineraries, insider tips, and regional highlights.
Beyond rail passes, the platform also offers snack subscriptions and attraction tickets, solidifying its role as a one-stop Japan travel resource.
Taipei Hotel Collaboration
From 17 March to 31 December 2025, JR East has teamed up with Hotel Metropolitan Premier Taipei to offer additional benefits:
- Snack subscribers get 15% off hotel stays and 10% off dining.
- Hotel guests enjoy 20% off snack box subscriptions.
With Japan remaining a top destination for Singaporeans, these discounts and resources make exploring lesser-known regions like Tohoku and Niigata more accessible. The inclusion of airport transfers (Narita and Haneda) further enhances convenience.
