Since the government took over operations in 2022, The Kallang has rapidly grown into Singapore’s excitement epicentre.

Event days have surged, attendance has risen, and 2025 alone has welcomed landmark events such as the World Aquatics Championships, the World Para Swimming Championships, and a sold-out concert by global superstar Lady Gaga, her only Asia stop this year.

Beyond major spectacles, The Kallang has strengthened its community roots by hosting events like the National School Games, Majulah Fiesta, GetActive!, and ONE Countdown, reinforcing its mission to be a place for everyone.

“Feel Alive” – A New Tagline for a Revitalised Precinct

The Kallang’s new tagline, “Feel Alive,” captures the precinct’s spirit of energy, connection, and creativity. It is anchored in four brand values:

  • Connection – Building meaningful bonds through thoughtful spaces and events
  • Vibrancy – A living destination fueled by movement, ideas, and memorable moments
  • Excellence – Precision planning to guarantee world-class experiences
  • Leadership – Bringing in firsts and shaping Singapore’s most exciting happenings

Countdown 2026: The First Major Event Under the New Brand

To kick off this new era, The Kallang Group announced its first signature event under the new name, Countdown 2026 at The Kallang.

This year’s celebration will feature:

  • A star-studded concert headlined by Super Junior
  • Family-friendly festivities across the precinct
  • Singapore’s longest countdown fireworks, a spectacular 35-minute display over four chapters lighting up the Kallang Basin

One lucky eventgoer will also win The Kallang Pass, granting a pair of tickets to multiple major 2026 events at the National Stadium and Singapore Indoor Stadium. All Singapore residents aged 18 and above who attend the countdown event will be eligible.

Transforming the Precinct: New Dining, Play, and Sporting Spaces

A major series of enhancements is on the way to elevate The Kallang’s offerings even further. Visitors can look forward to:

  • New alfresco dining concepts lining a vibrant waterfront esplanade
  • A revamped Splash-N-Surf, reimagined as an expanded playscape
  • A new sheltered padel ecosystem with competition-ready courts
  • Upgraded climbing and bouldering walls for all skill levels

Enhancement works begin in phases from Q2 2026, with a fully revitalised mall targeted for completion in 2028. The mall will remain open throughout.
