The Singapore Interior Design Awards (SIDA) 2025 has officially opened its global call for entries, inviting visionary designers and firms to showcase their most defining projects. Organised by the Society of Interior Designers Singapore (SIDS), the prestigious awards return for their 9th edition, continuing to spotlight design excellence from around the world.

This year’s theme—setting the standard—reflects SIDA’s ongoing mission to honour projects that break boundaries and elevate the interior and spatial design industry. A major highlight of SIDA 2025 is its renewed focus on celebrating Singaporean talent. Six exclusive award categories have been reserved for local practitioners: Design Firm of the Year, Designer of the Year, Design of the Year, Young Designer of the Year, Lifetime Achievement Award, and Design Educator of the Year. This initiative reinforces Singapore’s position as a global city led by design innovation and local creativity.
SIDA 2025 also upholds rigorous professional standards, with winners selected by an esteemed international jury. This year’s panel includes Angela Spathonis (Gensler Singapore), Ar. Razvan Ghilic-Micu (Hassell Studio), Ar. Wong Ker How (Asolidplan), Ben Stevenson (Foster + Partners, Hong Kong), and Sabine Seck (Hirsch Bedner Associates)—all renowned leaders in design and architecture.
The awards continue to champion the next generation through the Youth Award category, dedicated to student designers ready to make their creative mark on the global stage.
Entries are open now until 1 August 2025, with a wide range of categories available. For full submission details, judging criteria, and jury bios, visit here.
