Remastered for Beyond good and evil It's been an open secret for a while, but it's still nice to get official confirmation. Ubisoft The long awaited release will be made Beyond Good and Evil, 20th Anniversary Edition on June 25with pre-orders for the physical release opening on July 12.
Set to release on all major platforms, the title includes a new treasure hunt, an anniversary plaque, a remastered soundtrack, support for up to 60 frames per second (FPS), and more “exclusive new content.”
“Embark on this epic adventure in up to 4K resolution and 60 fps with enhanced graphics, controls and sound,” reads the description on the trailer. “Explore the anniversary gallery, and discover more about Jade's childhood in a new treasure hunt!”
Beyond good and evil It was originally released in 2003 for PlayStation 2, PC, Xbox, and Gamecube, making 2024 its 21st year. Taking place from a third-person perspective, the film follows Jade on her quest to uncover the dark secrets of her government. The beloved classic received an HD re-release in 2011 for Xbox 360 and PS3, and is set to welcome another release sometime in the near future.
It was first revealed at E3 2017, Beyond good and evil 2 It will serve as a prequel to the original game. Details have remained sparse since then, but it has been confirmed It is still in pre-production in 2023. Unfortunately for fans, the latter was pulled from Steam before this announcement.
