If you’re looking to stay south of the river, this trendy hotel is probably your best bet. As with most Hoxton properties, rooms are fairly small in size but big on style, with velvet headboards, mid-century lamps and brass fittings. The communal spaces are worth checking out, too: the buzzy open-plan lobby is popular with MacBook-toting freelancers, while rooftop restaurant Seabird offers an impressive raw bar and spectacular city views.
