Thai rap powerhouse MILLI continues to break boundaries on the global stage—this time with a surprise appearance at Lollapalooza 2025 in Chicago. Joining Laotian-American DJ and producer Knock2 during his explosive closing set on Perry’s Stage on August 1, MILLI made history once again as the first Thai artist to perform at the iconic music festival.
Best known for her fiery bars and genre-defying style, MILLI burst onto the international scene back in 2022 when she became the first female solo Thai artist to perform at Coachella, famously eating mango sticky rice mid-set—a viral moment that cemented her global star status.
At Lollapalooza, she surprised the massive crowd with a high-octane live performance of “Dance or Dead,” her electrifying collaboration with Knock2 from her album HEAVYWEIGHT. Their high-energy synergy turned the Perry’s Stage into a dance-fuelled frenzy, capping off a night to remember for over 400,000 festival-goers.

This year’s Lollapalooza lineup featured international heavyweights including Tyler, the Creator, Olivia Rodrigo, A$AP Rocky, Sabrina Carpenter, Martin Garrix, and Korn. Asian artists also took the spotlight, with Twice and KATSEYE leading the charge, continuing the momentum set by past acts like NewJeans, STRAY KIDS, and Yoasobi.

Under YUPP! Entertainment, MILLI has carved a fierce reputation as one of Thailand’s most innovative artists. Her discography includes major hits like “Just Being Friendly” with Tilly Birds and “Mirror Mirror” with F.HERO and Changbin of STRAY KIDS—both amassing over 100 million YouTube views.
She’s also worked with 88rising on the remix of BIBI’s “The Weekend,” collaborated with Jackson Wang on “Mind Games,” and recently shared the stage with Jay Park as a special guest during his 2025 World Tour stop in Bangkok.
