As scams grow more sophisticated in Singapore, StarHub is stepping up with a new layer of digital protection. Marking its 25th anniversary, the telco has launched ScamSafe, a mobile app designed to make scam prevention simple, proactive, and accessible for everyone.
Developed in partnership with Gogolook, a global leader in AI-powered anti-scam technology, ScamSafe automatically blocks known scam calls and filters out suspicious SMS messages before they reach your inbox. Users can also set up custom keyword filters, cross-check unknown numbers against an updated scam database, and even report scams to help protect others.
The app is part of SafeHub+, StarHub’s growing suite of cybersecurity solutions aimed at making online safety easier to manage. With Singapore celebrating SG60, StarHub says ScamSafe reflects its commitment to keeping digital spaces secure, empowering users to use their devices with confidence. More features and tools will roll out in 2025, expanding SafeHub+ into a full ecosystem of user-friendly online protection.
To make ScamSafe widely accessible, StarHub is offering a free six-month trial for all users who sign up before 31 December 2025. After the trial, subscriptions are available on a flexible, no-contract basis at $2.99/month for StarHub customers and $4.99/month for non-customers.
The app is available now on the App Store and Google Play, with StarHub customers able to subscribe directly via the My StarHub app at the special rate.
