Advertise on X/Twitter user @XunHe1145, the project is a collaboration with several fan artists that transports all the main characters from the very popular Larian Studios title to an idyllic small town called Baldur Village. Custom art and dialogue are included as part of the package, with four companions currently in the works: Astarion, Shadowheart, Gale, and Halsin.
As for Will, Karlach, and the rest of the gang, they will arrive in time. “To answer all the questions about the main characters: They will all be there, but my Apple Pencil needs more time,” says Xun. It's a fair and reasonable request, considering the team is doing it for free.
Players can also expect the following planned features:
- New independent map for Baldur Village
- Four different building styles in the village
- Astarion, Shadowheart, Gale, and Halsin NPCs with custom portraits for at least the first three
- A complete romantic quest for Asterion, with the possibility of similar treatment for his other companions
The team has not yet specified a release window for Stardew Valley mod, but has looked to drop it on Nexus Mods before Baldur's Gate 3Our first anniversary is on August 3. While this project is being worked on with a “small team of hobbyists,” Sean notes that progress will be slow.
