The Singapore Motorshow 2025, held from 9 to 12 January at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre, concluded on a high note, making history with the largest-ever display of EVs and hybrids. Over four exciting days, more than 160 vehicles from 31 car brands were showcased, with an impressive 70% being electric or hybrid models.

Unprecedented Lineup of Exhibitors and Launches

This year’s lineup featured a stellar roster of exhibitors, including Audi, BMW, BYD, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Volvo, and more. Among the highlights was the official launch of the all-new Deepal S07 and the Singapore debut of the YANGWANG U9.

Other showstopping debuts included:

  • Audi Q6 e-tron, the first model built on the Premium Platform Electric.
  • BMW 530i Signature, a special edition offering.
  • BYD Sealion 7, a sleek addition to the EV market.
  • Honda Accord e:HEV, a self-charging hybrid.
  • KIA EV5, a bold new electric SUV.
  • Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV, blending luxury with electrification.
  • Nissan Qashqai, an all-new design.
  • smart #5, previewed outside of China for the first time ahead of its October 2024 launch in Brisbane, Australia.

Beyond the cars, attendees were treated to appearances by Mediacorp celebrities, including Chantalle Ng, Shane Pow, Bonnie Loo, Desmond Tan, and Rebecca Lim, with other stars like Li Nan Xing adding to the buzz. The event drew over 34,000 visitors, making it a resounding success.

Grand Prize Giveaway

The Motorshow wrapped up with an exciting Grand Lucky Draw conducted by the Motor Traders Association (MTA). Keith Tan emerged as the winner, driving away with a Subaru Forester i-S EyeSight e-BOXER Hybrid worth $139,800 (without COE).
