Held at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, the 9th edition of SIDA was graced by Guest-of-Honour Ms Indranee Rajah, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister for Finance and National Development, alongside more than 400 guests from the design, architecture, and built environment sectors.

This year’s competition drew over 650 submissions from 13 countries, including a first-time entry from South Africa. Notably, Singapore designers contributed 557 entries, reinforcing the nation’s status as a regional design powerhouse. While submission numbers remained steady, judges emphasised that the quality and execution of completed projects reached unprecedented heights, cementing SIDA’s position as one of the industry’s most respected platforms.
