Over 500 cancer warriors, survivors, caregivers, volunteers, and partners gathered at Zouk last night for a heartwarming finale to the Singapore Cancer Society’s (SCS) 60th anniversary. Themed “Celebrating Many Lives, One Legacy,” the event honored six decades of impactful work supporting cancer patients and their families, with additional attendees joining the festivities via livestream.
A Night of Resilience and Celebration
The evening’s highlight was an uplifting flash mob performance by cancer survivors from SCS’s support groups, igniting the crowd with their energy and determination. Guests were also treated to live performances by local talents including Liu Ling Ling, Peranakan Sayang, GIN Moh, and Joel Quintis, while enjoying a halal-certified dinner and creative mocktails.
The celebration also reflected on SCS’s incredible milestones in 2024, including the launch of Singapore’s first tertiary cancer rehabilitation centre, the NCCS-SCS Rehabilitation Centre, and the opening of the SCS Cancer Rehabilitation Centre @ NCIS, which now offers multidisciplinary care for patients undergoing or recovering from treatment.
