Singapore’s future takes centre stage today as Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Lawrence Wong officially launched the SG60 Heart&Soul Experience, the flagship event celebrating the nation’s 60th birthday. The grand opening at Orchard Central gathered over 300 guests, including artists from Shaping Hearts, youths from the National Youth Council, partner organisations, and government agencies.

Joining the launch were Mrs Josephine Teo, Minister for Digital Development and Information; Mr Tan Kiat How, Senior Minister of State for Digital Development and Information; Ms Low Yen Ling, Senior Minister of State for Culture, Community and Youth; and Mdm Rahayu Mahzam, Minister of State for Digital Development and Information.
A Journey Through Time and Possibility
Developed by the Ministry of Digital Development and Information (MDDI) and the National Library Board (NLB), the Heart&Soul Experience takes visitors on an immersive voyage through Singapore’s past, present, and imagined future. Using storytelling and generative AI, the showcase creates personalised encounters that draw inspiration from more than 110 partners across the public, private, and people sectors, including ForwardSG.
As the official SG60 highlight, the exhibition invites Singaporeans to reflect on the nation’s journey while inspiring hope and confidence in the shared future beyond SG60.
Explore the Experience
Running from 26 August to 31 December 2025, the Heart&Soul Experience begins on Level 4 of Orchard Library. The ticketed journey lasts 60–90 minutes, is available in Singapore’s four official languages, and is recommended for ages seven and up. Admission is free, but entry is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Visitors can also enjoy non-ticketed installations at Orchard Central and orchardgateway, including:
- A visual tribute to SG60, tracing Singapore’s evolution through time.
- Iconic phone booths where you can “dial into the future.”
- The AI-assisted Time Traveller installation, transporting visitors into Singapore’s past places.
