Last weekend, I traded Singapore’s urban hustle for an serenpitious escape at Rainforest Wild Asia, where Klook’s The Best You Path offered a refreshing combination of adventure and self-discovery. Accompanied by my son, Asher, we embarked on a journey that felt worlds away from Singapore’s cityscape, despite the heavy rain that nearly derailed our plans.

Unlike your typical zoo, Rainforest Wild Asia is designed as an adventure-based park.

Dash to Cart

It replicates the thrill of trekking through nature, allowing visitors to observe animals like tigers and sun bears in habitats that mirror the wild.

One highlight for us was watching a couple of tigers prowl along the Predator Walk as we watched them from atop. Their powerful presence was a reminder of nature’s raw beauty.

For thrill-seekers, the Canopy Jump is a must-try:

Though the 20-metre drop initially seemed daunting, Asher’s bravery to go first inspired me to take the leap. The two-second free fall delivered just enough adrenaline, followed by a gentle descent that let us soak in the rainforest canopy. This experience is a perfect introduction to bungee-like excitement and both Asher and I found it to be exhilarating.

Due to the rain, we did not manage to try out the other key attraction, the AIA Vitality Bounce, but we will be back again next time:

The Best You Path (Available till 31 July)

Klook’s first global brand campaign, The Best You, celebrates the transformational power of travel through experiences. This message comes to life in this latest activation with The Best You Path, a limited-time route at Rainforest Wild Asia.

This curated trail is available until July 31 and seeks to take adventurers on an extraordinary self-discovery experience, co-designed with the newest wildlife park.

Mirrors and uplifting quotes line the path, while five Joy Stops encourage moments of curiosity and mindfulness. Despite the downpour, the experience felt therapeutic, offering a rare chance for us to disconnect and reconnect with nature and ourselves. Perfect for father-son bonding on a Sunday.

Scented Souvenirs and Sweet Surprises

The journey culminated at Klook’s Joy Dispenser in The Cavern.

Say an affirmation phrase, “I embrace my wild side”, displayed on the digital screen at the dispenser, as your final moment of self-expression and empowerment to stand a chance to snag one of the daily 100 limited-edition incense kits, featuring whimsical scents like Mousedeer Farts, Mandai Matcha, A Sun Bear’s Mid-afternoon Splash, Breath of the Tiger and Gulp of Glory.

Other items to look out for include promo codes for F&B establishments in Rainforest Wild Asia (applicable for Rangers Cafe, Sentinel Foodhall, and Watering Hole Cafe only).

Rain or shine, Rainforest Wild Asia delivers an unforgettable adventure.

While the weather cut our visit short, both Asher and I still enjoyed ourselves tremondously at the park and going through the full experience of Klook’s curated trail to unleash our Inner Explorer.
