In a vibrant show of solidarity for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF) rallied over 5,000 participants at OCBC Square, Kallang, for the 17th edition of the Pink Ribbon Walk on 11 October 2025.

This year’s theme, “Stronger Together with Every Step,” echoed throughout the 3km and 5km scenic routes, as participants dressed in shades of pink walked in support of breast cancer awareness and early detection. Many came in creative costumes, turning the event into a spirited celebration of resilience, unity, and hope.

The walk was graced by Guest of Honour Mdm Rahayu Mahzam, Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Ministry of Health & Ministry of Law, and Minister Indranee Rajah, Patron of BCF. They joined survivors, caregivers, and supporters, reinforcing a nationwide commitment to tackle breast cancer together.

A key focus this year was on women under 40 through BCF’s “Breast Cancer Doesn’t Care” campaign. The initiative shines a spotlight on the importance of early awareness and regular checks among younger women, challenging the misconception that breast cancer only affects older women. With risks linked to lifestyle, family history, and genetics, the campaign aims to empower women in their 20s and 30s to take proactive steps for their health.

The event’s success was powered by strong partnerships:

  • Venue Partner: Singapore Sports Hub, which also lit up the National Stadium in pink to mark the occasion.

  • Fringe Activities: Glow-in-the-dark face painting, henna art, Bra Pong, and photobooths made conversations around breast health approachable and fun.
  • Live Performances & Competitions: High-energy music and dance, plus creative Best-Dressed contests, kept spirits high throughout the evening.
