This arrangement is due to the upcoming General Election (GE) 2025 and potential closures of selected ActiveSG facilities, including stadiums that are typically used for SPL fixtures.

Box 4

The move to OTH will ensure the smooth continuation of the 2024/25 SPL season, which is scheduled to conclude with the Singapore Cup final on 31 May.

Matches on 19 April (Young Lions vs Geylang International) and 20 April (BG Tampines Rovers vs Balestier Khalsa; Tanjong Pagar United vs Hougang United) will be rescheduled.

This weekend’s Women’s Premier League (WPL) fixtures will proceed as scheduled at Choa Chu Kang Stadium.

However, all remaining WPL, Singapore Football League and SPL Under-21 fixtures during the affected period will be postponed until after 3 May, with rescheduled dates expected to fall between June and August 2025.

Fans are encouraged to refer to the official SPL and FAS social media platforms for the latest updates.

We appreciate the continued support and understanding of all fans and stakeholders during this period.
