Designed to facilitate comfort and convenience for family travellers, Apartment Hotel Mimaru is as the name suggests, an amalgamation of apartment amenities with the comforts and convenience of a hotel. The brand offers boutique options in Japan’s top destinations of Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka, with spacious rooms, kitchenette facilities and excellent locations.

The Namba Station outpost, is in a prime position in one of Osaka’s most bustling neighbourhoods and in easy walking distance to two main subway lines. Themed around board games and play, the hotel is peppered with games that can be played on each floor, outside the elevator and even includes a coin hunt in each room.

All rooms include cooking facilities and cutlery, bathtubs and amenities and are notably larger than most standard hotels. The one-bedroom Japanese-style apartment comes with a separate tatami bedroom and living area that can accommodate up to five people, while the Loft Bed Apartment can host four adults and two children (who will love all the bunk bed options). What the rooms lack in luxury, they more than make up for in convenience and necessities. Making it even easier to travel throughout Japan, the company also has its own luggage transport service to its hotels around Japan as well as to the surrounding airports.
