Fans of Tolkien and LEGO are in for a spectacular treat this August as The LEGO Group unveils an immersive public display celebrating the upcoming Asia premiere of The Lord of the Rings – A Musical Tale. Held at Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands, the theatrical production runs from 12 to 31 August 2025, and the LEGO exhibition is available for viewing throughout the show’s run.

Blending fantasy, theatre, and brick-built magic, the display is headlined by “Rivendell Reforged,” a stunning expansion of the 10316 LEGO The Lord of the Rings: Rivendell set. Created as a rotating music box accompanied by a melodic piece from the musical, this one-of-a-kind masterpiece captures the Elven realm’s elegance and serenity in breathtaking detail—perfectly setting the stage for what’s to come.
Step Into Middle-earth Before the Curtain Rises

The LEGO installation also features two other iconic Middle-earth sets:
- 10354 The Lord of the Rings: The Shire – a peaceful pastoral build capturing the Hobbits’ homeland
- 10333 The Lord of the Rings: Barad-dûr – a towering, ominous rendition of Sauron’s dark fortress
Together, these creations offer an enchanting visual journey through Tolkien’s world—inviting audiences into the magic of Middle-earth even before they step into the theatre.
This captivating display is the result of a unique global collaboration between The LEGO Group, Base Entertainment Asia, and theatrical heavyweights including Kevin Wallace Productions, Middle-earth Enterprises, and Chicago Shakespeare Theater—merging the creativity of LEGO with the artistry of live performance.
