Hong Kong is set to soar into the festive season with the launch of “Merry Balloon Hong Kong”, a first-of-its-kind cross-IP winter celebration proudly sponsored by Hang Seng Insurance. Supported by the Culture, Sports and Tourism Bureau and the Hong Kong Tourism Board, the event will run from 24 November 2025 to 4 January 2026, transforming the city into Asia’s largest IP-themed carnival.

Featuring nearly 20 beloved international and local character IPs in giant helium balloon form including Care Bears, CoComelon, Garfield, LuLu the Piggy, M&M’s, MOLLY, Moomin, Peppa Pig, PAW Patrol, SpongeBob SquarePants, The Little Prince, MR. MEN LITTLE MISS, and more, this immersive celebration brings art, tourism, and entertainment together for a magical winter experience across Hong Kong.

The festival features three headline experiences: the city’s first-ever large-scale IP helium balloon parade, a giant inflatable theme park, and an interactive O2O city adventure.
