Up to 17 per cent discount for fans who purchase a bundle package for the matches
SINGAPORE, 12 SEPTEMBER 2024 – Tickets for the upcoming Lion City Cup 2024 will be available for purchase from 5pm this evening. Hosted at the Jalan Besar Stadium, the competition is scheduled to take place over two matchdays on 4 and 6 October 2024. Fans will be able to purchase their tickets via the FAS (https://www.fas.org.sg/tickets/) and Ticketek websites (https://premier.ticketek.com.sg/shows/show.aspx?sh=LCCMD1)
Adult tickets will be priced at $12.00 for adults and $6.00 for concession for a single matchday with an additional booking fee of $1.00 per ticket. Each ticket will allow fans to watch both matches per matchday, with each person allowed to purchase a maximum of 10 tickets per transaction.
Match tickets may also be purchased onsite at the JBS ticketing booth at the North Gate on match days from 2pm to 9.45pm; however, this will be strictly subjected to availability and only a limited number may be put up for sale. Hence, fans are highly encouraged to purchase their tickets early and via the online sales channel to avoid the queues on match day. Each ticket corresponds to a specific seat, with designated fan seating arrangements for home and away sections and and re-entry into the stadium will be allowed with wrist tags.

The Lion City Cup is set to return for its 28th edition, with top regional sides Johor Darul Ta’zim (Malaysia), BG Pathum United (Thailand), Tokyo Verdy (Japan), and the Singapore Under-16 team. The inclusion of Johor Darul Ta’zim and Tokyo Verdy marks their first appearance in the tournament, adding an extra layer of excitement and competition.
Founded in 1977, the Lion City Cup was established to nurture and develop young football talent, attracting national youth teams and developmental squads from around the globe. The tournament’s success and international recognition contributed to the creation of the FIFA Under-16 World Championships. The inaugural champion of the Lion City Cup in 1977 was the Singapore U16 team, featuring a young Fandi Ahmad, who would later go on to become Singapore’s most successful football player.
