Get ready for the ultimate showdown in student creativity—LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort has officially launched the LEGO School Challenge 2025, the largest LEGO school competition in Asia! Now in its fourth edition and backed by Malaysia’s Ministry of Education, this year’s event is set to be more exciting, imaginative, and global than ever before.

Open to students from Malaysia, Singapore, and beyond, the competition invites young builders aged 7 to 17 to dream big and build even bigger with the 2025 theme: “Build Your Dream Destination.” Whether it’s a floating city in the clouds, a hidden jungle retreat, or a futuristic island, students must bring their fantasy destinations to life using LEGO bricks—blending storytelling, design, and technical prowess.

What’s New in 2025?

This year’s Challenge comes with game-changing updates:

  • Grand Prizes Go Global: Top teams in the Primary and Secondary categories will win an all-expenses-paid trip to LEGOLAND Korea, while Junior Category winners will enjoy a fun-filled getaway at LEGOLAND Malaysia.
  • Speed Building Showdown: For the first time ever, finalists will compete in a live 45-minute Speed Building Challenge, putting their quick-thinking and creativity to the test in front of a panel of judges and a live audience.

All finalist teams will also receive:

  • A 3D2N stay at LEGOLAND Hotel
  • Exclusive LEGO trophies
  • LEGO sets and Annual Passes to LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort

Who Can Join?

The competition is open across three categories:

  • Junior: Ages 7–9
  • Primary: Ages 10–12
  • Secondary: Ages 13–17

Each team must consist of 3–4 students and 1 teacher. Registration is now open and runs until 15 June 2025. Interested schools can register at LEGOLAND Malaysia’s official site.
