Kids Haven, a kid’s furniture retailer, has announced the continuation of its partnership with the charity Children’s Wishing Well to support children’s development through long-term fundraising and community-focused initiatives.
The collaboration, first established in 2022, includes ongoing events and campaigns designed to benefit children and families in need.
Building on their previous success, the two organisations are now planning an art workshop for March 2025.
The workshop will provide children with an opportunity to create artwork and engage in hands-on activities and games.
The artwork produced may inspire future product designs by Kids Haven, with proceeds from these items donated to Children’s Wishing Well.
Ongoing fundraising campaign supporting enrichment programmes
In 2024, Kids Haven launched a showroom-based fundraising campaign to support the charity’s Children’s Enrichment Programme (CEP), which provides access to extracurricular classes such as fencing, arts, and public speaking.
As part of the campaign, Kids Haven sells keychains and plushies, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the charity.
To facilitate donations, the company has established a Giving.sg account, ensuring convenient access for donors while maintaining transparency by tracking total contributions.
The campaign is supported by promotional materials, including posters displayed in the company’s showroom, a banner on its website, and a YouTube video detailing the impact of the initiative.
Jeremy Teo, Co-Founder of Kids Haven, emphasised the significance of the partnership, saying, “Our partnership with Children’s Wishing Well reflects our commitment to supporting initiatives that benefit the community. This fundraising campaign aligns with our goal to contribute meaningfully to children’s well-being through sustained collaboration.”
Past collaboration and long-term commitment
Kids Haven’s relationship with Children’s Wishing Well began in 2022, when they co-hosted a workshop introducing children to the furniture industry through hands-on experiences in delivery and design.
The success of the event encouraged Kids Haven to deepen its involvement by establishing a long-term collaboration aimed at creating lasting impact.
The company also partnered with Ngee Ann Polytechnic’s Corporate Purpose Internship Programme, which provides interns with experience in community engagement projects.
Through this programme, Kids Haven has leveraged interns to manage its charity partnerships, including those with Children’s Wishing Well, while exploring additional opportunities to give back to the community.
Integrating community efforts with business goals
Kids Haven’s mission of providing quality, functional, and sustainable children’s furniture aligns with its dedication to community involvement.
The company offers a wide selection of products, including beds, desks, and storage solutions, designed to meet the needs of families.
Its online store in Singapore prioritises convenience while ensuring safety and durability in its furniture offerings.
As part of its strategy to integrate charitable work with its core business, Kids Haven aims to incorporate the artwork from the upcoming March 2025 workshop into its product designs.
Proceeds from the sales of these designs will go directly to Children’s Wishing Well, continuing the company’s cycle of giving back to society.
Children’s Wishing Well, a non-profit organisation in Singapore, focuses on improving the lives of children and families facing financial difficulties through a variety of initiatives, including educational and enrichment programmes.
