Hong Kong is set to shine brighter than ever this festive season as WinterFest 2025 rolls out a spectacular lineup of holiday experiences across the city. From 14 November 2025 to 4 January 2026, Central will be completely reimagined into a whimsical winter wonderland, featuring immersive light shows, towering festive installations, themed markets, and Christmas cheer at every corner, further strengthening Hong Kong’s status as Asia’s top Christmas destination.
Central Becomes a Storybook “Winter Wonderland”
This year’s must-see attraction, Winter Wonderland in Central, will bring Christmas magic to the heart of the city. For the first time, eight iconic Central buildings will be illuminated as part of the “Immersive Lights Show in Central”, transforming the skyline into a gigantic festive canvas through 3D projection mapping, light effects, and music.

A glittering 20-metre Christmas tree, as tall as a six-storey building, will anchor the celebrations at Statue Square Garden, surrounded by a toy-themed Christmas Town complete with colourful décor inspired by childhood classics such as trains, puppets, and spaceships.
Christmas Town Returns with Festive Markets, Carols & Santa Visits
From 14 November, Statue Square Garden will come alive with Christmas nostalgia and interactive fun for families and visitors of all ages. Guests can expect:
- Toy-themed Christmas Town with whimsical decorations
- Surprise Santa appearances and festive carol performances
- 12 chalet-style Christmas market booths (from 28 November) offering holiday treats, artisan gifts, and hands-on workshops
Adding to the festive ambience, Chater Road will transform into a sparkling Starlight Boulevard nightly at 5pm, with over 30 decorated trees, twinkling lights on pedestrian bridges, and a suspended Christmas tree installation above Chater House.
Guests can continue their journey to the iconic “Noëlia at LANDMARK”, a massive 30-metre-wide Christmas installation featuring an 11-metre lighthouse and Hong Kong’s largest interactive Wishing Lake, perfect for memorable photos.
Eight Buildings Join Forces for a Breathtaking Immersive Light Spectacle
From 28 November, the city will witness the debut of the Immersive Lights Show in Central, linking eight landmark buildings in a first-of-its-kind visual performance. Expect festive characters like reindeer, angels, snowmen, and presents dancing across skyscrapers in a symphony of lights and music.
The participating buildings include:
- Bank of China Building & Bank of China Tower
- Court of Final Appeal
- Hong Kong City Hall High Block
- Hong Kong Club Building
- HSBC Main Building
- Prince’s Building
- Standard Chartered Bank Building
City-Wide Festive Rewards & New Year’s Eve Extravaganza
To round off the celebrations, the Hong Kong Tourism Board will launch WinterFest Delights in December, featuring over 300 exclusive deals across dining, attractions, shopping, and transport via an easy-to-browse online platform.
Meanwhile, malls, hotels, theme parks and attractions throughout Hong Kong will join the merriment with themed décor and seasonal programmes, culminating in the iconic New Year’s Eve countdown fireworks, a spectacular finale to WinterFest 2025.
