Thanks to a partnership between Culina at COMO Dempsey and MEATK, the premium meat arm of SoGoodK founded by culinary entrepreneur Olivia Lee, Singaporeans can finally enjoy the famed white and black pork varieties that define Jeju’s culinary heritage.

HANDON represents the pinnacle of Korean pork quality. Sourced from local farms in Korea and raised with exceptional care, Jeju pork is known for its tenderness, juiciness, and distinctive clean, rich flavour. Highly prized by chefs and gourmet consumers in Korea, HANDON sets a benchmark for premium pork, one rooted in purity, consistency, and meticulous farming practices.
Bringing Jeju pork to Singapore was no small feat. Export discussions began years ago but were delayed following Korea’s foot-and-mouth outbreak, which temporarily halted considerations. Through collaboration between Jeju’s disease-free farms, Korean authorities, and Singapore’s regulators, HANDON finally received approval, arriving with full provenance and integrity preserved.

Raised along Jeju’s breezy coastlines and nourished by volcanic spring water, Jeju White Pork comes from pigs living in low-stress, spacious environments. The result? Silky-tender meat with a wonderfully clean flavour that mirrors the island’s pristine natural landscape.
Jeju Black Pork

Considered the crown jewel of Korean pork, Jeju Black Pork accounts for just 0.01% of Korea’s total pork production. These pigs grow slowly in Jeju’s misty highlands, producing meat renowned for its rich aroma, deeper flavour concentration, and luxurious texture. Due to its rarity and strict transport requirements, its arrival in Singapore marks a milestone for Korean gastronomy abroad.

Culina is now the only retailer in Singapore offering HANDON Jeju Pork. Known for its commitment to fine foods, it ensures every cut is handled with precision to maintain authenticity and flavour integrity.
