Date:

Box 1

Nestled comfortably on the second floor of the pet-friendly One Holland Village, the lantern-lit restaurant serves the same menu as its popular, queue-inspiring outlets in Japan. The sets, which include free-flow rice and cabbage, start at just $25 for the succulent Sirloin Gyukatsu Zen. Highlights include the Chuck Flap, which features the rare haneshita cut, prized for its rich marbling, and the beautifully textured Beef Tongue. Each steak is served medium-rare, though diners can also choose to further sear their beef on their own konro, a traditional Japanese earthenware grill. For those with different dietary preferences, seafood and vegetarian options are also available.
