As the 2024/25 Singapore Premier League season enters its final stretch, Matchweek 30 presents another slate of crucial fixtures as teams look to consolidate their positions.
The weekend opens with a pair of Friday night kick-offs. At Jalan Besar Stadium, Geylang International are looking to end a four-match losing streak in all competitions and revive their campaign to stay within the top three as well as their hopes of catching second-placed BG Tampines Rovers. Hougang, sitting sixth, still have top-four aspirations that will be boosted with a win here.
Over at the Jurong East Stadium, Tanjong Pagar United face a daunting challenge against BG Tampines Rovers. Rooted to the bottom, the Jaguars are searching for their second league win of 2025, while the visitors know that they cannot afford to drop any points in order to keep their slim title hopes alive.
Saturday’s action sees leaders Lion City Sailors looking to continue their good form in a clash against Brunei DPMM at Bishan Stadium. With seven matches to go, the Sailors know that another victory will see them move closer to a second title, while DPMM will aim to break into the top six by pulling off an upset.
Matchweek 30 wraps up on Sunday with Albirex Niigata (S) hosting the Young Lions and seeking redemption for their stunning 7-1 defeat to the same opponents in the Singapore Cup two weeks ago. The Young Lions, coming off a heavy defeat to the Sailors, will aim to regroup and climb up the table.
All matches will be streamed LIVE on our YouTube channel and meWATCH.
