SINGAPORE, 24 OCTOBER 2024 –With the season just past its midway mark, games are coming thick and fast in the Singapore Premier League. Matchweek 20 kicks off on Monday night with Tanjong Pagar United welcoming Balestier Khalsa to the Jurong East Stadium. Both teams will be hoping for an upturn in their fortunes, having each lost their previous three games.
The first match of the Tuesday night doubleheader sees Albirex Niigata (S) lock horns with Hougang United. The Swans will be full of confidence after winning five of their last seven games, whereas Hougang are winless in their past five matches.
Matchweek 20 wraps up with a tantalising Eastern Derby. Geylang International are looking to claim bragging rights over an out-of-form BG Tampines Rovers at the Jalan Besar Stadium. The Eagles are in rich goalscoring form after netting 16 goals in their past three games, and will certainly aim to add to that tally.
