The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) has imposed a fine of S$5,000 on Mr Luka Lalic, the Technical Director of Lion City Sailors Football Club (LCS), for an inappropriate social media post which disparaged FAS match officials following the Singapore Premier League (SPL) fixture between LCS and Albirex Niigata (S) FC on 23 June 2024. The offence was in direct violation of Article 92.1 of the Singapore Premier League 2024/25 Regulations.

 

Mr Luka acknowledges that he could have acted differently to communicate his views on these topics in a more effective manner. He has expressed regret for his actions.
