As Singapore turns 60, foodpanda is putting the spotlight on its delivery partners with a heartfelt tribute that goes beyond words. Under its Riding Singapore Forward campaign, the platform has rolled out a series of initiatives aimed at recognising, rewarding, and empowering the everyday heroes who keep the city moving.

At the heart of the celebration is a commitment to education and personal growth. During the SG60 pandarider Awards, foodpanda doubled last year’s bursary support—awarding 60 bursaries worth S$16,200 to delivery partners and their family members. The initiative not only fuels academic aspirations but also reflects foodpanda’s long-term investment in its partners’ well-being.

Outstanding service didn’t go unnoticed either. 31 delivery partners were recognised for their exemplary contributions to the community, while over 700 attendees took home goodie bags filled with safety essentials—from rain jackets and first-aid kits to sunscreen and neck fans—thanks to support from brands like Food Republic, Coca-Cola, HelloRide, and Chubb.

To further appreciate riders’ hard work, foodpanda is doubling all in-app tips from 8 to 10 August, giving customers a chance to show their appreciation with extra impact. Plus, riders picking up selected Coca-Cola orders from Food Republic outlets will receive a complimentary Coca-Cola from 1 to 10 August.

Looking ahead, rider safety remains a top priority. In preparation for Rider Safety Month this September, foodpanda is introducing intermediate road safety training, tailored to different vehicle types. These upgraded courses focus on practical techniques and hazard management, building road confidence and enhancing partner protection.

These National Day efforts fall under foodpanda’s broader panda hearts programme, which supports delivery partners across Asia through five key pillars: safety, well-being, personal development, community, and welfare perks.
