FairPrice Group is bringing a “spud-tacular” twist to this year’s SG60 National Day celebrations with the launch of three new limited-edition potato chip flavours inspired by beloved local tastes — Kopi, Laksa, and Black Pepper Crab.
Available across all FairPrice supermarkets and Cheers outlets from July to September 2025, the uniquely Singaporean chip flavours are priced at $2.50 per pack and aim to add a flavourful touch to the nation’s 60th birthday festivities.
In addition, FairPrice is contributing over 400,000 packs of its award-winning FairPrice Truffle Chips, valued at nearly $500,000, to this year’s National Day Parade (NDP) funpacks. The truffle chips were named “Retail Product of the Year” at the 2023 Retail Asia Awards.
“SG60 this year is all about uniting as one to build a better Singapore, and there’s nothing that brings Singaporeans together more than food,” said Vipul Chawla, Group CEO of FairPrice Group. “Whether it’s with our Truffle Chips in NDP funpacks or experiencing new fun local flavours, our aim is to make every day a little better.”
FairPrice has also introduced a new snack range featuring flavoured cashews such as Wasabi, Honey Mustard, and Garlic ($4.90 each), as well as new potato crisp flavours, Original, Mala, and Tomato ($2.35 each). These products are part of FairPrice’s house brand line, which now includes over 3,500 items and is typically 10 to 15 per cent more affordable than national brands.
Snacks remain one of the top categories for first-time buyers of FairPrice’s house brand offerings, with one in three products in FairPrice shopping baskets coming from the range.
As part of broader efforts to ensure everyone can celebrate SG60 meaningfully, FairPrice has also rolled out several national campaigns:
