This Lunar New Year, Entrepôt, The Robertson House’s signature all-day restaurant and bar, invites everyone to welcome the Year of the Snake with its unique and festive culinary creations. Available from now to 16 February, Entrepôt’s themed “The Golden Serpent” Yusheng and Prosperity “Scales” Set Menu offer a flavourful and symbolic twist on traditional Lunar New Year dishes.
The highlight this year is the “Golden Serpent” Yusheng:

The creative dish features bold, smoky charcoal flavours and unconventional ingredients like Snake Gourd, tangy-sweet Snake Fruit with Plum Dressing, and Dr. Robertson’s Chai Cured Salmon.
Adding an element of fun to the dish are crackling popping candies and candied pecans, which bring a playful surprise to the communal tossing tradition.

The yusheng is available in two sizes to suit different group sizes:
2–3 pax: $68++
4–6 pax: $88++
We sampled the larger yusheng and love the smoky flavours, despite it being a cold dish. This offered something different and fun from the usual.

Both portions include Chandu’s “White Serpent’s Elixir” cocktail, made with Oldenlandia Water (蛇草水). This inventive drink, available in alcoholic or non-alcoholic versions, adds a playful, refreshing touch to the meal and complements the smoky and tangy flavours of the yusheng.

For those celebrating at home, takeaway options come with a 200ml bottle of the cocktail and a recipe card to guide you through the tradition of tossing yusheng.

For those seeking a grander feast, the Prosperity “Scales” Set Menu offers an indulgent spread priced at $398++ for 4–6 pax. This set includes the signature yusheng alongside traditional dishes, reimagined in Entrepôt’s unique style. Three days’ advance reservations are required for this set menu.
