Singapore is about to make anime history. This August, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Infinity Castle will hold its first international red carpet movie premiere outside of Japan right here in Orchard Road, Singapore.
Presented by Crunchyroll, in collaboration with Sony Pictures Releasing International (Singapore), the exclusive event will be headlined by a special guest appearance from Takahiro Sakurai, the voice of Giyu Tomioka (Water Hashira), thrilling fans with a rare in-person greeting.

Enter the Infinity Castle: An Immersive Installation at Shaw Urban Plaza

From 4 to 28 August, fans can step into the mesmerizing world of the Infinity Castle at Shaw Urban Plaza, Level 1, with an 11am–9pm daily experiential installation that reimagines the anime’s iconic ever-shifting dimension.
Designed to replicate the surreal, gravity-defying interiors of the castle, the space features:
- Suspended traditional Japanese elements like shoji windows and fusuma doors
- Infinity mirror illusions for a disorienting and otherworldly feel
- A giant inflatable Tanjiro, vibrant anime visuals, and life-sized character standees
- An interactive PlayStation 5 gaming zone for fans to engage deeper with the franchise
