Perched on the second floor of a four-storey cocktail playground, the unassuming cocktail bar offers three different vibes for your drinking pleasure: the Main Lounge for socialising, a Private Drinking Room for quiet tête-à-têtes and an alfresco balcony for fresh air. Cocktails, which you order off of the back of a VHS tape, are refreshingly uncomplicated – the Codigo tequila-based Patrick Collins with sage cordial and salted yuzu is light and easy-going, while the desserty Sounds Like A Flan is a deliciously creamy sip of rum, dulce de leche and ube liqueur.
Peckish? There’s also a selection of hearty bites. Described as “Western fusion with influences from Filipino street food”, highlights include the addictive Dirty Corn Ribs and Lumpia Shanghai, the quintessential Filipino spring rolls. Desserts are fittingly boozy: the decadent Sinner’s Tiramisu is made with rum and Tia Maria, a coffee liqueur.
