Singapore’s historic Old Bukit Timah Fire Station is set to get a fresh lease of life this September 2025, as co-living brand Coliwoo, a subsidiary of LHN Limited, unveils its most ambitious project yet, a mixed-use lifestyle destination along the Rail Corridor at 260 Upper Bukit Timah Road.

The newly reimagined Coliwoo Bukit Timah Fire Station will blend co-living, retail, dining, and community-driven experiences, turning the heritage landmark into a vibrant hub where nature meets modern city living.
A Green Sanctuary for Modern Living
Anchored by Coliwoo’s latest co-living residence, the development offers fully self-sufficient apartments designed for professionals, students, and digital nomads. Each unit features warm, nature-inspired interiors and practical amenities such as ensuite bathrooms, kitchenettes, and washer-dryers with flexible stays starting from six nights.
Beyond private spaces, members can enjoy communal facilities including a coworking lounge, outdoor seating areas, and a community garden. Regular social programmes and island-wide networking events will foster connections across Coliwoo’s wider co-living community.

More Than Co-Living: A Lifestyle Destination
Coliwoo Bukit Timah Fire Station will also serve as a lifestyle hub for residents and visitors. Expect pop-up cafés for Rail Corridor hikers, family-friendly restaurants, artisan markets, and creative workshops. Plans include tenants such as urban farming collectives, craft breweries, and experiential retailers, alongside a year-round calendar of events ranging from yoga sessions to cultural festivals.
The pet-friendly precinct is designed with families in mind, featuring child-friendly zones and nature-inspired play trails. It also doubles as a refreshing venue for corporate offsites and student excursions, given its proximity to heritage landmarks like the Former Ford Factory.

Sustainability at Its Core
With a strong focus on green living, the development incorporates solar panels, water- and energy-efficient fittings, bike facilities, and EV charging stations. Collaborations with schools, NGOs, and grassroots groups will further sustainability education through initiatives like urban farming workshops, eco-learning trails, and community gardens.
The project has already earned the Singapore Good Design’s SG Mark (Spatial Design) award, recognising its thoughtful adaptive reuse of the century-old fire station.
