Cathay Pacific is reconnecting Hong Kong and Seattle with the return of its non-stop flights starting 30 March 2026, offering five round-trip services per week. The move marks Seattle as the airline’s ninth passenger destination in North America, further strengthening the global reach of its Hong Kong hub.

The announcement follows Cathay Pacific’s growing footprint in the U.S. Earlier this year, the airline launched direct flights to Dallas-Fort Worth, which will increase to daily service from October 2025 due to strong demand.
Enhanced Comfort with the A350-900
The Hong Kong–Seattle route will be operated by the Airbus A350-900, featuring fully flat beds in Business Class, spacious Premium Economy seating, and comfort-driven Economy cabins. The addition of Seattle complements Cathay Pacific’s North America summer 2026 schedule of more than 110 weekly return flights across major cities including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto, and Vancouver.
Special Launch Fares
Tickets go on sale today, with a celebratory promotion offering round-trip Economy fares from HK$5,060 for bookings made between 22 September and 31 October 2025. The promotional fares are valid for departures between 30 March and 30 June 2026, letting travelers experience Skytrax’s “World’s Best Economy Class” at an unbeatable value.
Flight schedules are as follows (all times local, subject to change and regulatory approval):
Elevating the Customer Journey
Cathay Pacific continues to enhance the travel experience on its North American network. The airline recently introduced its Aria Suite Business Class, all-new Premium Economy, and refreshed Economy cabins on selected Vancouver flights. Looking ahead, it will debut a 10,000-square-foot flagship lounge at New York JFK’s Terminal 6 in 2026.
Onboard, passengers can also look forward to Cathay Pacific’s award-winning inflight entertainment and menus created in partnership with Michelin-starred Hong Kong restaurants, available across all long-haul cabins.
Supporting Cargo Growth
The new Seattle passenger service will also expand options for Cathay Cargo, complementing the airline’s nearly 40 weekly freighter flights to North America during the summer peak season of 2026.
