British Airways has unveiled its newly refreshed lounge at Changi Airport Terminal 1, offering a sophisticated retreat for travelers and marking a key milestone in the airline’s £7 billion transformation program.
An Elevated Experience for Guests
The lounge now accommodates up to 226 guests, blending British Airways’ heritage with Singapore’s dynamic culture. Designed for First and Club World passengers, as well as eligible loyalty members, the revamped space offers an ideal setting to relax, dine, or refresh before boarding.
Introducing Concorde Dining
At the heart of the refreshed lounge is the all-new Concorde Dining area, a luxurious transformation of the former bar. Featuring plush fabrics, ambient lighting, and attentive table service, this exclusive space redefines in-lounge dining. Guests can savor classic British dishes like herb-crusted beef tenderloin and sticky toffee pudding, alongside locally inspired favorites such as cashew satay chicken and Lion Mane mushroom curry. The enhanced drinks menu includes three premium champagnes from Joseph Perrier and Bollinger, with staff trained in food and wine service for a premium experience.
Refined Design and Features
The lounge’s interiors showcase British craftsmanship with bespoke furniture by Boss Design and curated artwork by Singapore-based designer Louise Hill, celebrating the vibrant history of the city-state. The redesign includes private pods, improved seating, and upgraded ambient lighting to ensure a comfortable and tranquil environment.
Part of a Global Transformation
The refreshed Singapore lounge is part of British Airways’ extensive investment in customer experience, which includes upgraded cabin interiors, revamped lounges in London, Washington, and Lagos, and enhancements to the airline’s website and app. Additional lounge updates, including Seattle, are scheduled for later this year.
