After a six-year hiatus, Boiler Room—Asia’s most iconic underground music showcase—returns to Hong Kong for a massive two-day takeover on 3–4 May 2025, presented by Collective Minds Asia. Set against the stunning Wan Chai Harbourfront, this weekend promises an explosive celebration of global club culture with a panoramic waterfront backdrop and an open-air dancefloor that’s pure Boiler Room energy.

Following sold-out editions in 2018 and 2019, this comeback marks a powerful revival of Hong Kong’s underground scene. Known for its raw, up-close performances and 360-degree livestreams, Boiler Room has evolved from a single webcam taped to a wall in London into a global cultural force—broadcasting over 8,000 sets across 200 cities. And this May, Hong Kong gets two nights to take center stage.
The Lineup: Local Powerhouses & Global Pioneers
Saturday kicks off with Tokyo’s experimental icon POiSON GiRL FRiEND. Known for her genre-defying sound that fuses ambient house, Brazilian rhythms, and British New Wave, she brings decades of sonic innovation to her Boiler Room debut.
Also lighting up the decks is the Yeti Out Collective, a force in Asian underground culture. Five of its genre-bending members will represent:
- Arthur Yeti, known for post-punk and experimental dance blends;
- Tom Yeti, bridging East-West underground with electrifying energy;
- Jerry Haha, whose sets fuse sonic innovation with artistic vision;
- Subez Yeti, co-founder of Mean Gurls Club, famed for unpredictable, high-energy sets;
- Fergus, a globetrotting DJ bringing disco, grime, and house to the forefront.
Sunday brings the soulful grooves of TSHA, one of the UK’s most exciting electronic artists. Her acclaimed debut album Capricorn Sun and electrifying sets at Coachella, Glastonbury, and Red Rocks have earned her over 110 million streams and global recognition.

Rounding off the weekend is Hong Kong’s rising collective 0159 Group, known for pushing the city’s electronic scene into bold, new territory. Expect boundary-breaking sets from:

- Yueming, who blends Breaks, Techno, and IDM with classical finesse;
- Noscope720, delivering intense, genre-melting soundscapes rooted in Chinese instruments and UK bass.
