Ron Zacapa, Guatemala’s award-winning luxury rum, has made its official debut in Singapore with the launch of its “Aged Above the Clouds” experience at SUSHISAMBA, Capital Tower. The event marked the start of Zacapa’s regional showcase, which will travel across Southeast Asia, including Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, and Vietnam, with its most extensive presentation set for Danang.

Crafted in Guatemala and aged 2,300 metres above sea level in the country’s highlands, Zacapa is known for its unique maturation process under the guidance of Master Blender Lorena Vásquez.

Using the Solera System, which blends rums of varying ages in barrels once used for whiskey, sherry, and Cognac, Zacapa develops its signature depth and smoothness. Unlike most rums, it is made from the first press of virgin sugar cane, lending a naturally sweeter and more refined character.

Each bottle is adorned with the handwoven Petate band, a traditional Guatemalan palm-leaf weaving that symbolises heritage and craftsmanship. This attention to detail reflects Zacapa’s positioning as not just a spirit, but a journey into Guatemalan tradition and artistry.
Two expressions are now available in Singapore.

Zacapa XO, a blend of rums aged between 10 and 25 years and finished in French oak Cognac barrels, offers layers of fruit, spice, toasted oak, and a smooth lingering finish. It has earned multiple international accolades, including Double Gold at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2024 and Gold in 2025.
Zacapa No. 23, aged between 6 and 23 years in a variety of casks, brings forward notes of caramel, vanilla, cacao, and honeyed butterscotch, and has also won top awards across global spirits competitions.
The brand’s Singapore launch at SUSHISAMBA combined exclusive tastings with an immersive, multi-sensory journey highlighting Zacapa’s provenance and craft, accompanied by the venue’s vibrant mix of Japanese, Brazilian, and Peruvian culinary influences. Zacapa is also now featured at local destinations such as Sugarhall.
In Singapore, Zacapa XO retails from $400 and Zacapa No. 23 from $250, available at select bars, restaurants, and fine liquor stores.
