Both characters are seen crossing paths in a new cinematic trailer for the game, which teases different playstyles. According to Ubisoft, Naoe uses stealth and stealth/deception mechanics, while Yasuke's strength is primarily in combat, as shown below:

Shadows of Assassin's Creed It's making its way to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series November 15 . Ubisoft+ subscribers will have access to the game on November 12, along with individuals who purchased the Definitive Edition. Each pre-order unlocks an additional mission, regardless of version – of which there are three:
- Gold Edition It will include the base game, the Season Pass (including a bonus mission with unlockable bonus content as well as two upcoming expansions) and 3-day early game access.
- Final edition It will include the base game, season pass, ultimate pack, and 3 days early access to the game. The final pack will contain the Sekiryu Character Pack (Naoe and Yasuke outfit, weapon, trinket, and mount), Sekiryu Hideout Pack, 5 skill points, and a red and black photo mode filter.
- Collector's Edition It will include the base game, season pass, ultimate bundle, physical content, and 3 days early access to the game. Having a non-acting pair of black samurai and a female shinobi in the foreground makes for an assassin action that's a pleasant surprise, even if the Japanese title has been a long time coming. More blade movement, silent stealth and agile maneuvers will be revealed in June when the game's first trailer is released.
