Asia’s first LEGO Ferrari Build & Race attraction has officially opened at LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort, revving up a brand-new experience that blends the world of Ferrari with the limitless creativity of LEGO play.

This unique, interactive attraction brings together hands-on building, digital innovation, and the excitement of motorsports, inviting fans of all ages to create, customise, and race their very own LEGO Ferrari. The star of the show? The world’s first life-sized LEGO Ferrari F50, constructed exclusively for LEGOLAND Malaysia, a true marvel of design and engineering made from 421,652 LEGO bricks, weighing 1,603kg, and built over 1,306 hours.
A High-Speed LEGO Adventure for All
Located in the IMAGINATION Zone, the LEGO Ferrari Build & Race experience features five interactive zones that fuel creativity, curiosity, and friendly competition:
- Ferrari Garage – Step into Ferrari’s world with iconic memorabilia and snap a photo with the full-sized LEGO Ferrari F50 centrepiece.
- Build Zone – Design and build your very own LEGO Ferrari from scratch.
- Test Zone – Put your build to the test across three tracks that challenge speed, steering, and performance.
- Virtual Race Zone – Scan your LEGO car and race it digitally on a virtual version of the legendary Pista di Fiorano track in Italy. Customise, compete, and claim your spot on the winner’s podium!
- DUPLO Build Area – A dedicated space for little builders to enjoy safe, hands-on fun with DUPLO bricks.
A Boost for Johor Tourism
The launch was officiated by YAB Datuk Onn Hafiz Ghazi, Menteri Besar Johor, marking a major milestone for LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort. The attraction strengthens the resort’s status as Southeast Asia’s leading family destination, arriving at the perfect time ahead of Visit Johor Year 2026 and Visit Malaysia Year 2026.
With its STEAM-inspired play concept and immersive digital elements, the LEGO Ferrari Build & Race experience is expected to become a top draw for families this year-end holiday season, especially for travellers from across Malaysia and neighbouring Singapore.
The opening follows other exciting enhancements at the resort, including MINILAND Singapore and the world’s first LEGO Flower Garden MINILAND, reinforcing LEGOLAND Malaysia’s role in boosting Johor’s tourism and economic growth.
