The Apple iPad series of tablets has proven itself as the best companion for creative professionals, whether it's drawing, journaling or general productivity. But the hardware reinforces that it is new M4 The processor presents an opportunity to capture a larger segment of another market – gaming.
It falls within the newly announced iPad Pro M4 2024, the upgraded chip touts a 50 percent increase in GPU performance over its M2 counterpart found in previous-generation models. The first experience powered by the M4 is further enhanced by the all-new Tandem OLED technology, which houses two OLED displays in a slim frame.
Thinner, actually. The tablet is available in 11- and 13-inch sizes, and measures 5.5mm and 5.1mm respectively, making it the thinnest device in Apple's history. Doubling down on its credentials as a simple, minimalist device, the iPad Pro M4 easily held its own in a series of real-world tests including Honkai: Star Rail, Genshin Impact, Call of Duty War Zone MobileAnd PUBG Mobile.
However, attacking all four titles is one thing, beating the heat is another. This newer powerhouse accomplished both quite easily, registering little to no frame rate drops and operating below 35 degrees even under heavy loads.
