AirAsia strengthens its ties between travel, sports, and lifestyle with the successful debut of the first-ever AirAsia Kallang Run in Singapore. Held at the Singapore Sports Hub and organised by Kallang Alive Sport Management (KASM), the event brought together thousands of runners from Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and beyond, turning the spotlight on sports tourism as a bridge for regional connection.

The run is part of AirAsia’s broader vision to create sports-driven communities while making travel and lifestyle experiences across Asia more affordable and accessible. The event underscored Singapore’s growing role as a key “virtual hub” for both sports and tourism, supported by AirAsia’s extensive low-cost network.
Building on this momentum, AirAsia is extending its RedRun series beyond Singapore, with runs already held in Bali and Surabaya, and upcoming editions in Penang and Phuket. This regional rollout reflects the airline’s strategy of blending affordable connectivity with lifestyle experiences, reinforcing its mission of democratising travel.
To celebrate the success of the inaugural Kallang Run, AirAsia has launched special fares starting at SGD70 all-in one way for direct flights from Singapore to destinations such as Penang, Kuching, Langkawi, Bali, and Bangkok. For travellers eyeing medium to long-haul trips, Fly-Thru connections via Kuala Lumpur or Bangkok (Don Mueang) are available from just SGD142 all-in one way to destinations including Almaty, Chiang Mai, Da Nang, Tashkent, and Istanbul.
Adding to these travel opportunities, AirAsia X will expand its network with new routes: flights to Tashkent, Uzbekistan beginning 15 October 2025 with three weekly services, and flights to Istanbul, Türkiye launching 14 November 2025 with four weekly services.
All fares are quoted as one-way all-in, inclusive of passenger service charge, regulatory service charges, fuel surcharges, and applicable fees. Bookings can be made via airasia.com or the AirAsia MOVE app.
