Hong Kong entrepreneur Adrian Cheng has officially unveiled ALMAD Group, a new global platform designed to capture tomorrow’s opportunities across nine transformative paradigms. Headquartered in Hong Kong, the group will focus on shaping growth in emerging markets such as Mainland China, ASEAN, and the Middle East, while also pushing boundaries in culture and digital innovation.
ALMAD Group’s strategy is anchored in three core directions:
- Investing in transformative industries – from culture, entertainment, sports, media, and healthcare to commercial management and cultural tourism, targeting the needs of Gen Z and Gen Alpha.
- Breaking new ground in digital and virtual assets – exploring Web3 innovations, digital asset investments, and real-world asset tokenization.
- Globalizing the K11 by AC cultural ecosystem – expanding cultural retail, art districts, and lifestyle experiences.
A strong believer in technology and creative entrepreneurship, Cheng has previously backed game-changing ventures including Xiaohongshu, XPeng Motors, and Micro Connect. With ALMAD, he aims to continue empowering startups while building scalable ecosystems that bridge culture and commerce.
A key pillar of the group is K11 by AC, Cheng’s cultural brand known for integrating art, retail, and lifestyle. Beyond managing cultural and retail assets, it is rapidly expanding into the Anime IP space through Experience 11, curating global collaborations in the booming ACGN sector. K11 by AC is also scaling its Gentry Club, a luxury cultural club concept themed around artisanal living.
Cheng is no stranger to innovation. In 2008, he pioneered K11, the world’s first cultural commerce model, later transforming Hong Kong’s Victoria Dockside into a US$2.6 billion global arts and cultural hub anchored by K11 MUSEA.
