Singapore’s storied Ann Siang Hill welcomes two vibrant new additions—Club Street Laundry and Hup San Social Club—bringing a heartfelt tribute to immigrant heritage with a modern twist. Nestled at the junction of Club Street and Ann Siang Hill, these twin concepts are led by Chef Justin Hammond, Beverage Director June Baek, and Director of Operations & Communications Donna-Mae de Cruz, who together breathe new life into this historic enclave.
Club Street Laundry: Where Heritage Meets Modern Australian Cuisine

Housed in the former Hup San Laundry building, Club Street Laundry blends nostalgia with innovation. Inspired by Club Street’s past as a haven for Chinese social clubs, this all-day venue reimagines the communal spirit of Singapore’s early immigrants, offering a warm gathering place for today’s diverse, globally rooted community.
With panoramic views of the iconic shophouses, the space shifts effortlessly from a relaxed café by day to a lively social spot by night. Chef Justin Hammond’s menu celebrates modern Australian cuisine with a global twist—infused with bold spices and refined techniques drawn from his travels. Expect inventive dishes that honour culinary heritage while embracing fresh ideas, complemented by a curated international wine list.
Hup San Social Club: An Intimate Basement Bar with Big Personality

Descend into the cozy basement of the building and you’ll discover Hup San Social Club, an exclusive 12-seat bar where every cocktail is a mood. The debut menu, Do What Brings You Joy, invites guests to sip with intention—each drink crafted to evoke a feeling, whether it’s playful rebellion or soulful reflection.
Under the creative direction of award-winning mixologist June Baek, Hup San Social Club transforms a night out into a personal experience—full of charm, spirit, and curated connection. With just the right mix of intimacy and energy, it’s where the night begins and stories unfold.
