SINGAPORE, 11 MARCH 2026 – The Football Association of Singapore (FAS) has cancelled the international friendly between the Singapore Men’s National Team and the Faroe Islands. The match was originally planned to take place on March 26 in Dubai.

Box 4

The cancellation, after consulting our counterparts and relevant stakeholders, was made following a careful assessment of the evolving situation in the Middle East and its potential implications for travel and match operations.

The safety and well-being of our players, coaching staff, officials and supporters remain our foremost priority.

The national team will instead continue its preparations with a centralised training programme in Singapore ahead of the final Asian Cup group stage match against Bangladesh on March 31 at the National Stadium.
