Most teenagers dream of holidays, gadgets or exciting new experiences, but 17-year-old Aaron Tan had something far more meaningful in mind. Born with Pfeiffer Syndrome, Aaron chose to use his Make-A-Wish opportunity not for himself, but to help other children with critical illnesses experience the joy of a wish fulfilled.
On 28 November, that extraordinary wish comes to life through a special art auction hosted by Micron, in partnership with Make-A-Wish Singapore. Held exclusively for Micron employees and partners, the auction will feature six original paintings lovingly created by Aaron over the past months.
Crafting Hope Through Art
Aaron has dedicated countless hours to preparing for this moment. Supported by Make-A-Wish volunteers, he refined each artwork, wrote artist statements and curated a showcase that reflects his creativity, resilience and compassion. Friends, family and supporters have been invited to witness his wish become a reality.
A Journey of Strength and Heart
Aaron’s path has been filled with challenges: multiple surgeries, learning difficulties, epilepsy and two serious leg fractures. Yet, he continues to pursue his passions with unwavering determination. Through this auction, he hopes his art will spark joy, hope and strength in children facing similar battles.
“I wanted to do something that could help other kids like me,” Aaron said. “Everyone deserves a chance to have their wish fulfilled.”
