A Story of Love, Lies, and Legends

Set on the remote island of Kataw, the series follows Bebang, a hardworking islander who supports her family through odd jobs. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she meets Kevin, a gullible yet big-hearted Singaporean tourist searching for a mythical mermaid said to hold the cure for his mother’s mysterious illness.

To make ends meet, Bebang, helped by her quirky friend Luloy, pretends to be the fabled mermaid. But as the deception grows, real emotions surface, leaving both Bebang and Kevin torn between truth and fantasy.

Opposite him is Samantha Panlilio, Miss Grand International Philippines 2021, who takes on the role of Bebang, a resilient young woman caught between family duty and the pull of romance.
